Ditto the Beagle

This weekend I was pretty busy. My cousin max was staying with us for a couple nights and we ran around a lot tearing up the house. He doesn’t like to sleep as much as I do, though, so sometimes he wanted to play when I just wanted to rest.

It was really nice weather out so I got to play outside and sun myself a lot too. The small human didn’t make too much noise and bother me a lot. I like to check on her every once in awhile, too, to make sure she’s ok.

There was one bad thing over the weekend when some man came to the house to change our TV and Internet. It makes it much faster for me to update my blog, but the man smelled HORRIBLE. It took over a day for me to stop smelling him in the house.

This weekend my cousin Max is coming to stay with us. I hope he is ready to tear it up in the back yard with me. He may be able to help me find the chipmunk that lives back there and keeps tormenting me. I’ve tried to dig the chipmunk up, but I just can’t get to him. He is real fast, but if Max and I can work together we may be able to get him.

The small human isn’t bothering me as much anymore. I can ignore her pretty good and she is also sleeping at night more than she was. I don’t think she realizes how important it is for me to get plenty of sleep. Otherwise she wouldn’t cry.

Today I decided to assert myself a little more and pee on the small humans play area. I didn’t tell anyone so Mom put her down to play and she got soaked. I thought it was real entertaining, but Mom was not amused. The small humans clothes were soaked and she had to get a bath.

It’s important the humans know I’m in charge.

Some of the girls my Mom works with pointed this out. I completely agree!

Mom and Dad entered my sister in a crazy hair contest. I think she qualifies, and the more votes she gets the better!

I hope my mom has a very good day! She takes good care of me and I was here before that little human was so I know that she loves me most.

I pretty much just lounged about this weekend. It rained most of Saturday so I had to stay in the house which is always sad. But on Sunday it was real nice and I spent a lot of time just sunning myself on the deck. It sure was good because the baby was making all kinds of noise. She was crying a ton last night too while I was trying to sleep. I’ve managed to tune out the particular frequency that she cries on pretty well, but every once in awhile it still bothers me.

I also got to roll around in something real smelly and fun while in the backyard. Mom and Dad say I stink now, but I think I smell great.
