Walter and I got to play in all the snow today!

It’s everywhere! At the end of our driveway there is a HUGE pile of it. I love to jump into it and then hop right back out. I also put my nose all the way into it too, sometimes putting my whole head in! It’s so cold and fun to play in. There is also some other kind of stuff that is on the ground that is real slippery and sometimes it makes me fall down. I don’t like that stuff quite as much.
I would take a picture of the fluffy white stuff, but Mom and Dad can’t find the camera. They sure are irresponsible.
They are installing more of my fence today. They said they may be done tomorrow and then I can play with no leash on as much as I want!
Over 10 people filled out extensive applications to adopt Lucy. Mom and Dad went through all ten with their friend at work and picked the one that seemed to be the best place for her, although it was really hard to decide they said. Tomorrow night her new family is coming by to pick her up. Lucy is going to be so excited because they have a big yard with a fence and she can run around like a crazy dog. And Mom and Dad said they will check in on her from time to time to make sure she is doing well.
Yay for Lucy!!!
Oh man is this dog a nutcase. She wouldn’t leave me alone all night last night. She would just run around and around and around and around and try to jump on me. It was insane. And she would pee in random places for no reason at all. I guess she’s just a baby so she doesn’t know any better.
Mom and Dad said she is going to her real foster home tonight and that she will hopefully be in a permanent home by the end of the week. That will be good. She deserves a nice, permanent home where they will take good care of her. She seems like a real nice dog. She doesn’t really like to be in her crate very much, but neither do I, so I understand.
She didn’t get to sleep in the bed, like I do. I think she was pretty mad about that, but I was happy because I needed my rest.
Ok, this is going to be interesting. Apparently we are temporarily watching a puppy named Lucy. She is a mix of a Beagle and a Boston Terrier. Her owners can’t keep her anymore and Mom and Dad said they would watch her temporarily and another co-worker of Mom and Dad’s is also going to watch her until a permanent home can be found for her. She is only four months old and is real small. I will maybe pick her up and carry her around like I do with my stuffed toys.
Mom and Dad swear they aren’t going to keep her for good, but I bet they cave and keep her. Here is a picture of her:

There were people at my house all weekend. My cousins Matthew and Sammi came. I like them, because they are small and don’t scare me. Their parents came too and then my Grandma and Grandpa from Canton came. That’s a lot of people in my house, ya know? I tried to get more treats from Grandpa, because usually he gives me a lot of them, but he wouldn’t give me any. I don’t know what the deal was.
I got so worked up with that many people in the house that I threw up on the carpet. Then I tried to eat it but dad wouldn’t let me. It sure was neat looking. I felt much better afterwards and wanted to eat again. Matthew and Sammi also got up very early in the morning so I had to go back to sleep because I don’t like getting up that early.
It’s supposed to be REALLY cold this week with some of the white stuff. I hope I don’t freeze…
Huge news! I heard Mom and Dad talking about something called a fence being put in the backyard of our house. They say it means I will be able to go outside and entertain myself without being on a leash! It’s like a mini-dog park! How great is that? Plus, I’m pretty sure that I’ll be able to escape if I really put my mind to it. Paul and Michelle used to think I couldn’t escape from the Cove or get into places I wasn’t supposed to, but I did!
The white stuff is mostly gone now, but it’s supposed to come back next week. It’s been super cold, though. I try to stay inside as much as possible.
Where have I been? Well, let me tell you. I’ve been moving so much in the last three weeks I didn’t have any time at all to write. I hope everyone had a very nice Chanukah, Christmas and New Years!
In the past three weeks I’ve been staying at my grandparents in Canton, traveling to Virginia to visit my grandparents there, then to Pittsburgh to visit more relatives and then finally back to Cleveland into my NEW HOUSE! Finally, after three months, we got to move in. And let me tell you, the basement alone is bigger than our old place in California. I run and run and run and get so tired because there is so much carpet to run on and roll around on. It is great! And I have a huge backyard! Mom and Dad are trying to decide whether to get me an invisible fence or a real fence to let me play in the backyard by myself. Hopefully they’ll decide soon so I can play anytime I want!
I’ve met my new neighbors. There are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood and they all seem very nice and I ran in circles for 15 minutes today playing with my new friend Walter. He is a very nice dog, but a little crazy.
I’ll post pictures of me tearing up the new house real soon! Happy New Year to all of my blog friends!
