Day two

Friday, September 29th, 2006

Well, we spent a whole lot of time in the car today. I slept most of the time. Every once in awhile I would get up, take a look outside, assess the situation, and then go back to sleep. Mom and Dad stopped every couple of hours so I could go outside and walk around and do important other things.

Dad moved the pictures from the trip to Webshots because the other site wasn’t working right. You can find the latest pictures here.

Tomorrow we don’t have as much driving, I don’t think.

Ditto - day one

We have a big problem

Tuesday, September 26th, 2006

I’m not sure what they are thinking, but Mom and Dad made a decision, without consulting me, that a lot of my old toys were simply going to be put in one of those big bags that gets taken out of the house and disappears for good. So, early this morning, after I ate my breakfast, and Dad had gone back upstairs to bed, I snuck back down, put my head in the bag and started pulling my stuff out. I took one of the bones back upstairs with me and tried to crawl under the covers with it before Mom figured out what was going on.

I’m stating for the record right now. I cannot be held responsible for what I may do if they continue to try and throw my toys away. Be warned.

Winding down…

Friday, September 22nd, 2006

Mom had her last day of work yesterday and Dad is having his last day today. I guess that means they will be home for the next week before we leave for Cleveland. I heard them tell Paul I would only be at the Cove twice next week. What’s up with that? I need to get in as much quality time with Snoopy and the gang as possible. I think if I misbehave enough, they’ll take me to the Cove everyday so I am not in their way while getting ready to move.

I checked my food supply level and I think I have enough to make it to Cleveland. I eat Wellness again because Mom and Dad said the food I was eating isn’t sold in Ohio. I like the Wellness so I don’t really mind. I hope the dogs in Ohio are ready for me. I’m tough and I won’t stand for any nonsense from them.

I get to see Bagel and Max in two weeks! Yay!!!

Almost go time!

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

Less than two weeks until I have to go to Ohio. I’ve been doing some research and found that I can go hunting in Ohio. I hope Dad takes me to look for ducks. I love ducks. I will chase them for hours and then if I catch one, I will squash it’s head. It will be so much fun.

This weekend I am going to see my friend Oscar. I will play with him one last time before we move. I think it’ll be a fun time. He is small like me, so usually we can chase each other real well.

I’ve already started to organize my stuff to make sure Mom and Dad don’t forget anything. I am taking my big blue bed in the car along with a few bones, my food and some treats. I get the entire back of the SUV to walk around and sleep while we are driving. I can stand up every once in awhile to look out the window and see what’s going on.

Bagel - my Dad emailed your mom about coming to visit you and Max. I hope we can play for a little bit at your dog park!

Back home…

Wednesday, September 13th, 2006

I got to come home last night! The bad part of that was that I had to get a bath before I came home. I thought I smelled fine, but apparently I was exceptionally dirty after being at the Cove for over a week.

When I got home Dad was there and I could tell that he wasn’t feeling well so I gave him a big hug. He said he wasn’t allowed to pick me up because he had something called his gallbladder taken out. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds disgusting. I laid down with him on the couch and made sure know one bothered him.

We’re leaving for Cleveland in less than three weeks! I can’t wait to drive cross country and smell all kinds of new stuff. I hope we see some neat animals!

On vacation

Friday, September 8th, 2006

I’m on vacation this week at the Cove. Mom and Dad are looking for houses in that new place called Cleveland and going to some persons wedding in Boston. I guess it’s ok, because I wanted to spend as much time as possible with my friends at the Cove before Mom and Dad force me to go to Cleveland.

Now back to playing!
