I have analyzed my new food…

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

And have decided it is acceptable. I looked at the ingredients list and found that it has no by-product chicken, which is real bad and is even in Iams, which is supposedly good food. This Kirkland stuff is pretty tasty and has almost the same stuff as my old food so I’ve decided to accept it and eat it twice a day. I thought about a hunger strike, but decided against it.

I guess Mom and Dad are going away AGAIN this weekend so I get to go back to the Cove. They sure do abandon me a lot. But I’ll have fun with my pals at the Cove.

Cheap parents!

So, get this, Mom and Dad made the decision, without my input, that I was going to start eating a new, cheaper food. Apparently now that I am two, they don’t care about me as much. Now I am eating this stuff called Kirkland and I heard them say it came from some place called Costco!!?? Does that sound like the kind of food that a Princess should be eating? I don’t think so. Dad swears it has the same good ingredients as the food I eat now, but is much less expensive. Ummm…how is that possible? Sounds to me like someone isn’t thinking clearly. I mean, I’ll admit, it tastes delicious, but pretty much any food I eat tastes delicious.

I got to go on a long road trip yesterday. We drove up to where it was SUPER hot and I got to see where Mom and Dad got married. Like I care. There was a lot of grass there, but they wouldn’t let me on it. Then we went to this house where there was this little dog who kept trying to bite my nose. I wanted to squash it, but I decided not to.

I’ll be starting a petition soon to get back the more expensive food. I expect anyone who reads this to sign it…

Did ya miss me?

I’m back! Mom and Dad came and got me on Monday and it was so great to see them! I cried a little when I first ran out to see them. It seemed like it had been so long! Michelle made me take a bath, I guess so I smelled real nice when they picked me up. I didn’t really mind since I knew I got to see them that night.I had a great vacation! I got to spend almost the entire time at Paul and Michelle’s house with Marty, Rufus and Carter, along with the kids. It was fantastic! I even got a special treat on my birthday that I shared with the others. Paul took these pictures of me.

Happy birthday to me!

Today is my 2nd birthday! That makes me 14 in human years! Almost a full fledged adult. I was talking to Paul at the Cove about my birthday and gave him this list of demands to pass on to Mom and Dad:

…a cell phone, my own “space”, an appropriate allowance, and to be dropped off at the corner rather than have them come in with me at the Cove.”

All seem like reasonable demands and if they don’t grant them, I will start biting people left and right.

I’m supposed to be getting a special treat in the mail today for my birthday, since Mom and Dad seemed to think it was more important for them to go on their honeymoon then celebrate my birthday. It better get here soon!

On vacation

Well, it’s been almost a week since Mom and Dad dropped me off at the Cove. I managed to sneak onto the computer today for the first time.

Last Sunday Mom and Dad finally had that wedding thing. There sure were a lot of people that came from far away. On Monday after the wedding Mom picked me up and brought me back home for a little while. But there were tons of strangers in and out of the house all day and it was really stressing me out. It stressed me out so much that I bit the maintenance guy who was working in front of the house. I didn’t mean to, I was just scared and stressed out. Finally they took me back to the Cove where I saw Paul and Snoopy and calmed down right away.

Now Mom and Dad are in some place called Hawaii. I don’t think they are coming back for another whole week. I’m having a pretty good time at the Cove, but I’ll be ready to go home when they get back.
