Almost there…

Thursday, May 25th, 2006

Well, the wedding is almost here. I can’t wait. Finally I won’t have to deal with this nonsense anymore. There are always boxes and junk around the house when I get home from the Cove. And none of it is food, so what do I care? It just gets in my way.

Dad was away the past couple of days for work and I got to sleep on his pillow. I sure do love sleeping on pillows. Mom gets real mad, though, and always tries to move me. I don’t get it. She sleeps on a pillow, so why can’t I? It’s not like I’m dirty or something.

I heard Mom and Dad saying that people are starting to arrive for the wedding in less than a week. They better not be leaving me home to deal with these people. I want to go to the Cove where my friends are. I guess a lot of the people coming want to see me. I know I’m cute, but don’t they know I don’t like people?

A quick update

Sorry I’ve been gone so long again. Mom and Dad are driving me nuts with the wedding stuff so I tend to just stay on the couch and sleep so I don’t have to listen to any of it. Fortunately, it will all be over in a little over two weeks and then I get a nice long vacation at the Cove. I am real excited. I plan to lie in the sun just about every minute I can.

Here’s a recent picture Dad took of me. It’s a close-up of my snout. This is how I prefer to sleep. Completely covered up, but then I maneuver myself so just my nose is out and I can breath. That way it’s completely dark, but I don’t suffocate. I’m real smart, huh?

New car!

Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006

Yesterday Mom and Dad picked me up at the Cove in this HUGE new car! At first I was scared, then I realized it was like the car Michelle and Paul sometimes take me home in. It has a ton of space for me to run around in it, but for some reason they won’t let me. In fact, they make me stay in my Cabana in the back of the car, which means I can’t even look out the windows! I really hate it. I wish they had never gotten the car at all. Dad kept saying I wasn’t allowed to roam free until they got a net installed between the back and the front of the car, because I always lick the car and make it dirty. So? He’s lucky I’m licking the car and not peeing on it.

And my real important question is if they bought a new car, how many dog treats could I have had instead of a new car?
