What a great story!

Monday, September 26th, 2005

I am so happy this morning! Even though I don’t know Pepper, the fact that she survived the New Orleans flooding is amazing! Read all about it here. It is such a great story with such a happy ending for her Dad and her…

All my tests from the doctor came back normal. Not sure why they even took me there. What’s so weird about being hungry all the time?

Hungry all the time

Friday, September 23rd, 2005

Lately I’ve been even more hungry than normal. I wake Dad up a couple times during the night and won’t leave him alone until he gives me some food. I’m also real thirsty all the time. So I drink a ton of water and then have to go out to pee a lot. I don’t see what the problem is, but Mom and Dad seem concerned. I hope they don’t take me to the bad place again.

This weekend I hope I get to go to the park and play. I may go swimming again, if I feel like it. I also heard Mom and Dad saying people were coming over to the house to deliver something. They better stay out of my way!

Huge plate of food!

Sunday, September 18th, 2005

Dad is in some place called New York for a few days. He went to breakfast this morning and took a picture of the food they served him. He and Mom seem to think it is enough food to feed 5-6 people, but I think it looks like just the right amount for me. I would eat it down before they even knew what was happening. Mom and Dad were saying it was a disgusting amount of food. Blasphemy!

New TV!

Thursday, September 15th, 2005

I got home last night and there was this HUGE new TV in my living room. Mom and Dad haven’t let me watch Animal Planet on it yet, but they were watching it last night and it was pretty neat. The picture is real big and clear. I hope that when I watch Animal Planet I can sit right below the TV and feel like I’m actually playing with the other animals. Here is a picture of it:

Mom wrecked the car again!

Wednesday, September 14th, 2005

Well, it happened again. And this time I wasn’t even driving! I wasn’t even IN the car this time so I can’t be blamed. The poor car got wrecked again. This time the left door instead of the right. They match now! I noticed it right away when I got in this morning. Dad took this picture:

Car damage

I think I’m finally done with the yucky medicine. It sure was upsetting my stomach.

Long weekend

Sunday, September 11th, 2005

Man have I had a busy few days. Friday was real tough. First, Dad dropped me off at the Cove like normal. But then he showed up only a few hours later and took me away. Little did I know that I was going to the “bad place” where the doctors are. I HATE that place. Not just a little. I shake all over and get all upset. The doctor took me in the back room and gave me THREE needles. Can you believe that? Three! I guess I have to get some every year to make sure that I don’t get weird dog diseases. I guess it’s good, but I hate it.

Then the doctor told dad that I have Giardia again. Now, I don’t know what that is, but I sure do get it a lot. She said it’s because I lick other dogs butts or something. I don’t know why that would cause it. All dogs do that. All I know is that now I have to take this powder medicine again. It makes my tummy a little upset.

After the bad place Dad took me back to the Cove and I got to stay overnight at Paul and Michelle’s house. On the way home from the Cove I threw up in Michelle’s car and then quickly ate it up so she didn’t get mad. My tummy was upset from all the shots and the yucky powder.

On Saturday I got to go back to the Cove and then Mom and Dad picked me up. Some bad person came over to our house that night and I barked at him a lot. Eventually he got the hint and left.

Today I only threw up one time because my stomach was still bothering me. I did go out and play a lot so it was ok. I have been sleeping most of the day to make myself feel better.

Tomorrow I heard Mom and Dad saying that Dad was going out of town for a few days. It will be just Mom and me! Yay!!!!

Famous, at last!

Wednesday, September 7th, 2005

Well, after a full year of being the cutest dog at the Canine Cove, I finally made the front page of their site. I’ve been asking for it for the entire time but apparently they were concerned that having me on the site might lead to too much business. Now that they are expanding I guess they figure it’s ok.

Swimming!

Tuesday, September 6th, 2005

Mom and Dad took me to the park this weekend and while they weren’t looking and no one else was around I went into the water! They think I’m afraid of it, so they were real surprised. But I’m not afraid, I just don’t like to show off my skills while others around. I’m a superior swimmer and it makes the other dogs feel bad. Dad took this quick photo:

San Francisco Doggone Fun Run

Friday, September 2nd, 2005

Great news! I am joining hundreds of other dogs in Golden Gate Park next month to raise money for the San Francisco SPCA. It will be so much fun! I’m hoping a lot of my friends from the Cove are there too. If you want to donate to the cause, click here.
